Topic: XBOX issue (Read 154 times)

when playing about 20-30 mins my friends box gets error message that says

"script compile error bad syntax check console for details"

I tried to google the problem and only got PC help.

Any suggestion would be great. Bought this box used from a trusted friend.

If it is just MW2, have you deleted the game save from the HDD? If that does not work, you could clear the cache on the 360.

How to clear the Xbox 360 console cache

If you have to clear the cache, make sure you read the Note at the top of the KB article before doing it.

These seemed to be the only solutions I found.

its not mine its a friends. It was freezing before giving him that message. I think its karma.

If that is the case, I would speculate that the MW2 disk may be going bad. Check the disk for scratches, bubbles, and dust. If it checks out physically, have him try your disk and see if it happens again.
